50,000 views!!! 🎉
That’s fifty – five zero – thousand views by the 20,000 of you!
Can you believe it? It all started with one, probably by my Mom.
Honestly, it’s incredible to think about all the people who have stopped by – that’s like a whole stadium full of people attending to a Shakira concert or something.
Wow! I guess, I can take it as a good sign, and it makes me very happy and pushes me to continue all this because, apparently, you guys seem to like it… – yay!

So, let’s go together for the 100.000, shall we?

Thank you all for being here and supporting my work through all the ups and downs, hiatuses and comebacks… Knowing that so many of you tune in keeps me motivated and excited for what’s next.

You guys are the best audience I could get here, on my little blog.

I really enjoyed writing and sharing my travels with you, especially the Camino de Santiago series – which probably brought you here in the first place. But then of course life threw a few curveballs, and “writer’s block” is a polite way of describing the mental fog that descended on me – it was more of an utter shutdown. Depression hit hard, and suddenly, the words just… stopped – a couple of times, actually.

Then in early 2024, we decided to move to Barcelona from rainy and grey Manchester. This move was like pressing the restart button! The sun, the sea, and the slower pace of life fueled my creative engines like never before – juices are flowing 😄 … I’m buzzing with new ideas. And now it feels… right. Like, I’ve finally found the path I was searching for, the one I seemed to have lost somewhere along the way.
And wait, speaking of new ideas – it’s not just travel guides and recipes… I’m cooking up something extra special – a Facebook page. It’s all about building a cozy little community where we can hang out, chat, and share our love for all things food and travel. I will keep you updated!

This reminds me of what I really want to say! Which is that the greatest thing for me in all of this is talking and connecting with you! Amazingly, we have had so very little abuse – if any… – since starting this blog. That was a massive worry of mine, so thank you all for being great and for all your kind words – indeed. Remember, behind every screen is a real person – words can cut deep, whether they’re typed or spoken, so let’s spread kindness and support to each other!

I read every comment, DM, and email from you – it means the world to me and I try to reply to everyone when I can – … It’s a one-person show here on the other side, only me trying to work on 4 things at the same time which can be tricky.
But I promise, I love all the travel stories and experiences you are sharing with me. I take notes on your recommendations, I try to research and answer your questions… and I’m working on your “wishlist” too, let it be an article finally about Manchester – boo. – the camera I use, or more tapas recipes…

Okay, enough of my blablabla, I wanna hear from you now, so let’s hang out in the comment section for a bit, and tell me anything – tell me something like… I don’t know…
