I spent 2 weeks back home in Hungary this month, and I found a box of CDs – it’s vintage, bitch –  sitting in the garage. I opened them, and it brought back so soo sooo many memories, although some of them worth to be forgotten and burnt to dust but whateva. Anyways… – Luckily I saved some amazing ones too

In 2007 my history teacher organized a week-long trip to Poland, I can’t really guide you through with details cuz, well, first of all, it happened 11 years ago I don’t really remember  – yes I’m old.

… And I really don’t want to give you a history class about the Holocaust and Auschwitz, if it happened as it was written down or not… Nah, not my intention at all right now, but I promised you a throwback and girl… I’m gonna give you a throwback and leave my vintage pictures here for you. En route + Krakow

To be honest with you, now that I checked all my pictures… I really want to go back to Poland. I don’t even know how come it never crossed my mind in the past 11 years. It’s not too far from Hungary and from Manchester by plane probably like 3 hours only.  I remember back then we traveled by bus. Oh my… good old days. Anyway… I have to admit Krakow is back on my list, for a long weekend, very soon.

Wieliczka Salt Mine

This mine opened in the 13th century (damn …) over 287 km long and has a depth of 327 meters, the tour you can take is only like 3 kilometers you can walk around for a good 2 hours and you can discover dozens of statues and four chapels carved out of the rock by the miners.

Auschwitz

11 years later I’m still not sure how I feel about this place, scrolling through my pictures… Either way, it’s just… One of the saddest places I’ve ever been, that’s for sure. It’s definitely frustrating, and your mind won’t let it go for a while but I encourage everyone to visit this place.
