Let’s keep it easy and quick for today.
All I want to know is… What is your favorite travel destination, and why?

My frequent readers probably already know my answer to this question: Spain.
I fell in love with Spain – and the Latin American countries – at a very young age. My first trip ever to Spain happened like 11 years ago to the island of Fuerteventura. Then and there I was sure… I’m in love. The culture, the people, the language, the weather… not to mention the food!
Since then, I visited many parts of this beautiful country. I walked the Camino de Santiago, travelled to most of the islands and discovered a lot of hidden gems during my road trips. I just can’t get bored of Spain – all the regions feel different.

So, please… Leave your favorite city / country in the comments section! Let’s share some great travel stories, let’s discover, and maybe – just maAaaAybe – let’s put some new destionations on our “travelling bucket list”

See you at the comments,

Noémi

  1. Had the opportunity to spend Christmas and New Years this year in Florianopolis Brazil. It was amazing! The food, the people, the beautiful beaches, the epic hikes. Checked off a life long bucket list item of being able to learn to surf. It was probably my best trip to date.

  2. I’m very fortunate to be able to have a hard time answering this question, but I’d have to say Guatemala. Such an underrated destination! The topography is absolutely stunning with volcanos and beaches, Lake Atitlan, Antigua, Tikal, El Paredon are such beautiful locations and the country’s culture is so rich. The hikes are challenging, but epic! I hope to go back one day 🙂

Cruise travel is another amazing way to explore the world! While many people focus on picking the best destination, choosing the right cruise ship and cabin is just as important. I’ve learned that some rooms on cruise ships can have noise issues or limited views, which can impact the experience. If anyone is considering a cruise, I recently came across some useful insights on which rooms to avoid on Carnival Sunshine. Here’s the article: Carnival sunshine rooms to avoid – might help fellow travelers make the best choice! Have any of you had a cruise experience? Would love to hear your stories

I have not travelled as extensively as many of you, so I am still in discovery mode. But the Sonoran desert is currently winning my heart. 🌵

  5. I haven’t been able to label any place my favourite travel location yet .

There are so many countries and their peculiarities bring different cultural experiences.

I visited Cape Verde , a small but really interesting island but then there is the truly amazing Turkey and not forgetting Spain.

It is really difficult to choose right now .
Meanwhile I am still travelling …next destination South Africa .

  6. It’s so interesting to read all the different places in the world that people love. I’ve visited several countries, and I hope I don’t sound old fashioned when I say this… The country I enjoy the best is my own, Canada.
