Let’s keep it easy and quick for today.
All I want to know is… What is your favorite travel destination, and why?

My frequent readers probably already know my answer to this question: Spain.
I fell in love with Spain – and the Latin American countries – at a very young age. My first trip ever to Spain happened like 11 years ago to the island of Fuerteventura. Then and there I was sure… I’m in love. The culture, the people, the language, the weather… not to mention the food!
Since then, I visited many parts of this beautiful country. I walked the Camino de Santiago, travelled to most of the islands and discovered a lot of hidden gems during my road trips. I just can’t get bored of Spain – all the regions feel different.

So, please… Leave your favorite city / country in the comments section! Let’s share some great travel stories, let’s discover, and maybe – just maAaaAybe – let’s put some new destionations on our “travelling bucket list”

See you at the comments,

Noémi

Spain is amazing. I loved Barcelona and especially Madrid and there are so many more places I know I want to visit. I had a ton of fun in.Medellin Columbia. But my heart will always be in Paris 🙂 at least for now.

      1. I hope to be back with my family soon. We were supposed to go last year but there was a setback. I dislocated my knee and it required surgery. I simply couldn’t limp around paradise 😭😭😭😞😞😞

  2. I love driving from Lima to the high jungle region of Chanchamayo, a trip I do quite often. Eight or nine hours drive over the continental divide at 16,000 feet and then dropping down to the slow winding rivers and banana trees of the jungle. So many changes, from desert, high mountains and jungle all in one drive.

Such beauty just walking on the tow path. The cozy pubs, horses, nature, birds, etc. my favorite place in the world!

    1. New Orleans is probably calling me more than New York or LA or any of the other cities in the US. Hopefully I can visit one day… I love it since I was a kid and watched the cartoon called The Princess and the frog 😊

  5. Honestly, I deployed to Baghdad. While I was going on a long-range mission, we passed by a 4,000 year old Ziggurat. My platoon stopped pulled security, and we all took time looking at and even touching the old structure.

That is one of the treasured moments of my life. Thankfully, I have it captured in a picture!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  6. Spain City of Love. The history is one thing I want to experience. The food everyone talks about the food. The arts, the culture and the people. The dance history. Maybe a Bull Fight maybe!!! Their spiritual retreats. Whatever the lord has for me.

  7. I’ve traveled all around the world but my husband and I always return to Hawaii’s Big Island. It is scenic and laid back and we enjoy the routines we’ve built up there over the years… familiarity can be a huge comfort at times when traveling! In another corner of the world, I enjoy sitting at the same cafe each morning when we visit my husband’s hometown on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast every other year or so…

I absolutely loved my recent trip to Munich, Germany, thanks to PrestigeFly! The flight was incredible—comfortable, seamless, and with excellent service from start to finish. Munich was everything I imagined and more, with its beautiful parks, rich history, and vibrant culture. I spent my days exploring the city’s charming streets, enjoying the amazing food, and visiting historic landmarks. It was such a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. If you’re considering a European getaway, I highly recommend flying with PrestigeFly to make the experience even more memorable!

    1. I’ve been to Munich too a few years back. I thought it won’t be anything special compared to other European destination, but boy was I wrong!? It was so beautiful, it did not disappoint!
